Our members range from beginners to competent professional artists.
We have a range of activities promoting participation in various media,
craft activities employing artistic expression, educational seminars,
workshops and practise sessions. These vary according to the special
interests of the active members. We encourage opportunities for members  
to display their work (for sale if they wish), but emphasis is on taking part
and creating rather than the monetary worth of the finished artworks.
Membership is open to everyone interested in original Art.

Kerrie Atkins:  Painting: "APPLE GUM WALK"
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas    Size: 120cm X 90cm
Kerrie is Vice-president of the Society, leader of the Hanging workforce in
the Cooloola Shire Public Gallery, and long time member of the Society.  She
has studied under leading artists, attended seminars, taken the Open College 
of Arts course for two years 1995/96 conducted by the Queensland Arts
Council, has work in public and private collections and has won numerous
