Long standing Member Violette Vegh at her Exhibition of "Crochet as Art" in
the Cooloola Shire Public Gallery in conjunction with Hooked -

A Regional Gallery Tour .  Having developed a unique crochet stitch of her own,
Violette has mounted an exhibiton of various items - fish floating free,
bonnets, shawls (as seen in pic), breakfast with attendent flies, wedding
cake, eggs in a crate and much more.  One of the very successful exhibitions
in our Gallery overthe past three and half years.  We are very proud of our

Celeberation of Federation Parade - the local Drum Band.  This band has a
weekly session in the Reading Room of the Cooloola Shire Public Gallery.
Note the wheels holding the drums.  The Towing Member had difficulty on the
steep hills of Gympie but it added to the carnival atmosphere of the Parade.

Cooloola Arts Society President Gladys at our display in the Marquee with

outfit as she was a runner through Gympie, August 2000.
